How to Become an Admin on Your Unturned Server

Becoming an admin or owner on your Unturned server is smart if you want more control. It lets you use all the console commands and ban or kick players causing trouble.

Remember, these settings are specific to each world. So, if you switch your world name, you'll have to update your server settings for the new world. If you're running several worlds on your server, make sure to pick the right config file for the world you're adjusting.

Adding Yourself as an Admin

1. Go to your Unturned Server Panel and make sure the server is off.
2. Navigate to File Manager > Servers > Default > Server > Commands.dat
3. On a blank line, type owner [Steam ID64].
4. Save and Close the document.
5. Go back to Console and Start the server.

Adding Another Player as an Admin

1. Log in to your server.
2. Press Enter on your keyboard, to open the in-game chat.
3. Type /admin [Steam ID64]
