How to Create Your FiveM Server Backup Guide

In this article, you'll learn how to backup your FiveM Server.

Creating Server Backups

Regular backups are crucial for reverting to a previous server version in case of issues such as corrupt files, data loss, or script errors. Establish a routine backup schedule for optimal server maintenance.

Creating a backup is fairly simple and takes a few seconds.

  1. Head over to the RocketNode Panel.
  2. Open the Backups section of the Panel.
  3. Press the Create Backup button.
  4. Give the backup a name, We recommend the date your backing up the server on, and the name of your server.
  5. You can leave the Ignored Files & Directories blank, unless their is a file you don’t want to include in the backup.
  6. You can select the Locked option, to prevent accidental deletion of your backup.
  7. Press the Start Backup button.
  8. You will now see the backup, as shown below in our example.
