How to Disable Crosshair on Your DayZ Server

Turning the crosshair off is easier than you think.

In DayZ, the crosshair is an essential feature that assists players with accurate aiming during the use of firearms or ranged weapons. It acts as a focal point on the display, aiding in shot alignment and increasing the probability of successful hits. However, to amplify realism and elevate the level of difficulty, some servers and game modes opt to eliminate the crosshair, presenting an additional challenge in aiming accuracy for players.

Changing the Setting

  1. Go to your DayZ Server Panel and make sure the server is off.
  2. Navigate to Startup.
