How to Kick/Ban Players on your ARMA 3 Server

Find out how to restrict unwanted players from joining your server.

Operating a public Arma 3 server occasionally involves dealing with players who negatively affect the gameplay experience for others. To address this, server operators might find it necessary to either kick or ban such disruptive players.

Executing administrative actions like kicking or banning requires that you are logged into your server with Administrator privileges. For guidance please check this article on How to Add an Administrator on your ARMA 3 Server.

Kicking A Player

  1. Start Arma 3 and Connect to your server.
  2. Open the chat by pressing the / button.
  3. Type #kick player_nickname to kick the desired player.

Banning A Player

  1. Start Arma 3 and Connect to your server.
  2. Open the chat by pressing the / button.
  3. Type #ban player_nickname to kick the desired player.
