Incorporating an administrator into your Arma 3 server empowers the designated player with comprehensive control over administrative duties, adjustment of server configurations, and the execution of commands across the server.

This enhancement is particularly beneficial for server administrators aiming to alter missions mid-session or those needing to manage or expel disruptive players from the server.

Adding an Administrator

1. Go to your Arma 3 Server Panel and make sure the server is on.
2. Navigate to Files > Config Files.
3. Open server.cfg.
4. At the end of the document, add admins[]={};
5. Between the braces, enter the player’s SteamID64 under the option.
6. Save the document and start the server

Logging as an Administrator

In case you want to log in as an administrator, without having to add yourself to the server configuration, use these steps.

1. Connect to your Arma 3 server
2. Open the chatbox by pressing the / key.
3. Enter the command #login yourpasswordhere in order to log in as an administrator.

Note: The password you put is the one set in the server configuration.
