Step 1Acquire Your 7 Days to Die Server Hosting Package

Go to RocketNode.com and click on "Game Hosting" from the top menu bar. Scroll down to "7 Days to Die Hosting" and click on this option to see our plans. Our server hosting packages are customizable, and on this screen, you can pick your plan based on how many players you'd like to host, between 12 and 64 people.

When selecting a location, we recommend picking one closest to your player base's physical location – this will ensure optimal game performance. When configuring your payment for your new plan, we allow you to choose your billing cycle. Select Monthly, Quarterly, Semi-Annually, or Annually – whichever option is the most convenient for your budget.

Scroll down to the Additional Information section to choose a panel name for your server. This will appear as a nickname for your server in our online control panel after you've completed your purchase. Click "Continue" and you will proceed to the billing details section. Log in to an existing account or sign up to ensure you have access to your server once purchased. Choose your preferred payment method, provide your payment details, and be sure to agree to the terms of service to continue. Click "Checkout" to finalize your purchase, and you will receive a confirmation email that gives you access to your control panel.

Step 2Set Up Your 7 Days to Die Server

Navigate to panel.rocketnode.coma> and log in to your account. Before you start your server, select the "File Manager" button in the top menu bar to begin the setup process. Scroll down until you see "serverconfig.xml" and click on this option to edit it. Here you will be able to see essential settings for your new server.

At the top, you will find "ServerName" and next to that, it should read "My Game Host." If you would like to change the name of your server, be sure to leave the existing quotation marks and replace the current text with the new name you've chosen. Beneath the "ServerName" field, you will see "ServerDescription" that you can change to suit your new server, just be sure to leave the existing quotation marks as you did with the previous field.

Once you're finished, select "Save Content" and click on the "Overview" button in the top menu bar. Now you can click the green "Start Server" button on the upper right side of the screen.

Step 3Connect Your New 7 Days to Die Server to Your Game

Begin by opening 7 Days to Die on your desktop and then clicking "Join Game." At the bottom of the screen, you will select the option labeled "Connect to IP." Copy and paste the server's IP address into this field. Click "Connect" to finalize the connection process.
