How to Add a Steam Server Token to Your ETS2/ATS Server

Adding a Steam Server Token for ETS2/ATS

Steam requires a unique Steam Game Server Token (GSLT) to run ETS2 and ATS servers. Without it, your server may crash or fail to start properly.

Follow these steps to generate and apply a server token:

Step 1: Get Your Steam Token

  1. Go to the official Steam Game Server Management page.
  2. Log in with your Steam account.
  3. Under Create a new token:
    • For Euro Truck Simulator 2, use App ID: 227300
    • For American Truck Simulator, use App ID: 270880
  4. Set a memo (optional) like "RocketNode ETS2 Server".
  5. Click Create and copy the token.

Step 2: Apply the Token in the Panel

  1. Log in to the RocketNode Game Panel.
  2. Select your ETS2 or ATS server.
  3. Stop the server from the Overview tab.
  4. Go to the Configuration tab.
  5. Paste your token into the field labeled Steam Auth Token.

Make sure you're using the correct App ID or your server will not function correctly.
