How to Change the Map on Your ARK: Survival Ascended Server

Want to explore a different map or reset your gameplay? Changing the map on your ARK: Survival Ascended server is simple with RocketNode, and it's done right from the configuration tab.

Steps to Change the Map:

1. Log Into the RocketNode Panel

   Head over to panel.rocketnode.com and select your ARK: Survival Ascended server.

2. Stop the Server

   Make sure to stop your server before applying any changes.

3. Open the Configuration Tab

   Scroll down to the setting called SERVER MAP.

4. Enter the Map Level Name

   In the SERVER MAP field, type one of the following supported map level names:

   Map Name	Level Name
   The Island	TheIsland_WP
   The Center	TheCenter_WP
   Scorched Earth	ScorchedEarth_WP
   Aberration	Aberration_WP
   Extinction	Extinction_WP

   The following maps are currently unavailable in ARK: Survival Ascended:

   Ragnarok, Valguero, Genesis Part 1 & 2, Crystal Isles, Lost Island, Fjordur

5. Start the Server

   Once you've updated the level name, start your server again from the main panel.

That’s it, your server will now load the new map when players join. All map options listed above are supported on any RocketNode plan for ARK: Survival Ascended.
