How to Edit Your Public 7 Days to Die Server Details

Customize how your server appears in the server list.

7 Days to Die offers several settings that let you control how your server is presented to others in the server list. Here's how to adjust those details:

1. Log in to RocketNode's Game Panel and stop your server.
2. Go to the File Manager and locate the serverconfig.xml file.
3. Open the serverconfig.xml file and look for the following properties:
   • ServerName: This property changes the name of your server in both the in-game browser and the Steam server viewer. Set this to whatever name you want for your server.
   • ServerDescription: This property lets you provide a brief description of your server. When someone clicks on your server in the server browser, this description will be the first thing they see.
   • ServerWebsiteURL: Use this property to add a clickable website URL link under the server description. This is useful for directing players to a website with more information about your server or community.

   • ServerLoginConfirmationText: This property lets you create a custom message that appears before a player loads into your server. The player will have the option to continue joining or leave the server based on this message.
4. Save the changes to the serverconfig.xml file.
5. Restart your server to apply the new settings.
