How to Become an Admin on Your DayZ server

In DayZ, administrators play a key role in managing game servers. They uphold server rules, help players, and work to keep the gaming environment fair and fun. Admins step in to handle cheating, harassment, or any rule-breaking, crucial for keeping the community positive.

Setting an Admin Password

1. Go to your DayZ Server Panel and make sure the server is off.
2. Navigate to Startup.

3. Look for the Admin Password variable and put a secure password.

4. Go back to Console and Start the server.

Logging with the Admin Password

1. Connect to your DayZ server.
2. Press Enter on your keyboard to open the chat.
3. Type #login MyAdminPassword, replacing MyAdminPassword with the one you set earlier.
